Twenty five Police Officers from the rank of Corporal to Station Sergeant who underwent training in several police duty subjects graduated last Friday January 19th, 2018 at the Old Montrose Police Station.

The one-week training was held under the theme “Equipping future leaders in the organization.”

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Trevor Bailey who served as the course coordinator, in giving an overview of the course said the officers were trained in various subjects including: station management, statement taking, electronic interview, handling packaging and presenting exhibit to the court.

ASP Bailey said it is expected that more training courses of this nature will be held during this year.

Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Colin John in delivering the keynote address said that the theme for the training course was very relevant and appropriate.
