Twenty students are now ready to face the world having graduated from the Schools for Children with Special Needs in Georgetown and Kingstown.

At a combined ceremony yesterday, Principal of the Kingstown branch, Naseem Smith, encouraged the graduates to strive for excellence amidst the challenges.

During her remarks, Smith paused to recognize the sterling contribution of Terrence Davis, a teacher’s aide at the Kingstown location.

The Schools for Children with Special Needs cater for about 80 students with varying disabilities.

About 50 attend school in Kingstown while the others are schooled in Georgetown.
